Tyler grew up in Florida, chasing dreams of being a professional athlete in many sports. As an undergrad at Rollins College, he majored in Psychology and ran cross-country. It wasn't until after he graduated and moved to the Northeast that cycling came into his life. What began as a way to stay in shape for the upcoming National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) season quickly led to the soccer cleats being hung up for good after a few weeknight races.

While pursuing his graduate studies at the University of Virginia, Tyler's passion for the sport flourished by way of the Atlantic Collegiate Cycling Conference (ACCC) mountain bike and road series. In the Fall of 2012, he raced his first 'cross race and has been dedicating himself to the discipline ever since. An avid racer, Tyler competes in multiple discplines - cyclocross, mountain biking, road, and track - both domestically in the U.S. and internationally in Europe.

Tyler lives in Dallas, Texas, where he balances work, life, racing, and growing the cyclocross community in the region. He is eager to share his experience and help cyclists of all ages and levels achieve their goals.
