Series Points are tallied for and a leader’s jersey awarded after each event to:

- Elite Women $40

- Juniors 15-18 (1-3), Masters 55+ Men, Men 4, Women 3/4, Men 4 35+: $30
- Juniors 10-14: $15 in all cases, with no late fee.
- $5 late fee for day-of registration (where applicable)

Race Duration
The length of races must be as close as possible to:
- 60 minutes for Elite Men
- 45 minutes for Men 3, Masters 35+ (1-3) Men, Juniors 15-18 (1-3), Masters 45+ (1-3) Men, and Masters 55+ Men events
- 40 minutes for Elite Women, Women 3/4, Men 4, and Men 4 35+ events
- ~20 minutes for Junior 10-14 Men (schedule should be set for # of laps that will have the lead junior on the race course for approx. 20 minutes)

Overall Series Awards
The top 3 in each series category shall be awarded plaques. -
Call-up Procedures
All fields for series races will be lined-up in the starting grid via the following methods:- Elite Men, Elite Women - current UCI published rankings, random draw
- Men 3, Masters 45+ (1-3) Men, Masters 55+ Men, Junior 10-14 - current NECXS series points, promoter discretion.
- Masters 35+ Men (1-3)/Juniors 15-18 (1-3) & Women 3/4/Master Women 35+ 3/4 - For each group, riders that have received series points during the year will have their finish places added together relative to the field size. For example, a rider that finishes 1st in a 75 rider group will receive 75 staging points (NOT SERIES POINTS), and a rider that finishes 10th in a 50 rider field will receive 40 staging points. Riders who do not start will receive 0 staging points. Riders who start but are pulled from the race will receive a finish place and thus staging points based on when they are pulled. Riders who start but cannot finish will be assigned 1 less staging point than the last rider who finished. The rider with the higher staging points will be staged ahead of riders with lower staging points.
- Cat 4 Men, Cat 4 Masters 35+ - promoter discretion.

General Rules
- All races are sanctioned by USA Cycling, the national governing body of cycling in the United States.
- All races count towards the overall standings; no dropped rounds. No double points at any race of the series.
- The tiebreaker for overall standings is the result of the last run event.
- Riders that are 1st place in the series standings for their category/class MUST wear the provided leader's jersey in that race. Failure to do so will result in a $200 fine and/or loss of overall series prize eligibility and/or a deduction of 50 series points. All penalties will be determined by NECXS staff on a case-by-case basis as appropriate.
