Race Categories
Series Points are tallied for and a leader’s jersey awarded after each event to:
- Amateur Men (Cat 3's and Juniors 15-18 are eligible for this category)1
- Amateur Women (Cat 3/4 Women are eligible for this category)2
- Masters 35+ (1-3) Men
- Masters 45+
- Masters 55+
- Juniors 15-18
- Juniors 10-14
(1) Overall leader of the two groups combined will receive a jersey, plus the lead junior rider will also receive a jersey.
(2) Overall leader will receive a jersey, plus the lead 35+ rider will also receive a jersey. -

Entry Fees
- 1/2/3 Masters 35, Masters 45, Amateur Men: $35
- Masters 55, 4 Men, Amateur Women, 4 Masters 35: $30
- 10-14 Juniors: $15 in all cases, with no late fee.
- $5 late fee for day-of registration (where applicable)

Race Duration
The length of races must be as close as possible to:
- 45 minutes for Amateur Men, Masters 35+ (1-3), and Masters 45+ events
- 40 minutes for Amateur Women and Masters 55+ events
- 30 minutes for 4 Men, Masters 35+ Cat 4 events
- ~20 minutes for Junior 10-14 Men (schedule should be set for # of laps that will have the lead junior on the race course for approx. 20 minutes)

- Masters 35+ Cat 4 (after Daylight Savings Time ends, this field should be combined with Men 4 w/35+ scored separately)
- Amateur (3/4) Women & 10-14 Juniors (start at least 1 min after Amateur Women)
- Masters 45+ & Masters 55+ (start at least 1 min after Masters 45+)
- Masters 35+ (1-3)

Overall Series Awards
The top 3 in each series category shall be awarded plaques. -
Call-up Procedures
All fields for series races will be lined-up in the starting grid via the following methods:- Amateur Men, Cat 1/2/3 Masters 35+, Masters 45+, Masters 55+, Amateur Women, Junior 10-14 - current NECCS series points, order of registration.
- Cat 4 Men, Cat 4 Masters 35+ - order of registration.

General Rules
- All races are sanctioned by USA Cycling, the national governing body of cycling in the United States.
- All races count towards the overall standings; no dropped rounds. No double points at any race of the series.
- The tiebreaker for overall standings is the result of the last run event.
- Riders that are 1st place in the series standings for their category/class MUST wear the provided leader's jersey in that race. Failure to do so will result in a $200 fine and/or loss of overall series prize eligibility and/or a deduction of 50 series points. All penalties will be determined by NECCS staff on a case-by-case basis as appropriate.
