2011 CYCLE-SMART CYCLO-CROSS CAMP

Cycle-Smart is proud to present the 11th annual Cyclo-Cross Camp, taking place August 19-21, 2011, in Easthampton and Southampton, MA.

The Cycle-Smart Cyclo-Cross camp is arguably the original, most popular, and most emulated 'cross camp in North America. The camp's unique attraction lies in its beautiful setting, fun atmosphere, mix of ability levels and personalities, and the opportunity to learn and practice skills with some of America's best and most experienced 'cross racers and coaches.

"Adam Myerson passed along one tip about 'cross starts that was worth the entire price of camp alone! No matter what level racer you are, camp will fit into your agenda." -Chris Mayhew, multiple-time camp participant, coach at JBV Coaching.

Cycle-Smart coaches will provide hands-on instruction in technique and training for cyclo-cross. Camp is limited to 30 participants per day, and is open to riders of all ability levels, although everyone must have a USAC license. Unlicensed riders can purchase a license at the camp for an additional charge. Riders may register for Saturday or Sunday individually, or attend both days for a discounted price.

'CROSS CAMP LEVEL 4 TRAINING PROGRAM

For camp participants, Cycle-Smart is offering a special Level 4, 3-month training program at a discounted price of $150. This individualized training program is aimed to take the hands on technique-focused coaching from camp and add training-forcused coaching to take you through the Fall 'cross season.

Lodging:

Lodging is not included in the camp. There are many nearby lodging options in Northampton, Amherst, Springfield, Westfield, and Greenfield. We saw from past years that when we included lodging and meals for the camp, that's where the majority of the expenses went, making the camp too expensive. By simply providing local hotel recommendations, we feel this gives people the freedom to find lodging to match their budget.
