This is my first Battenkill. But apparently a thousand or so of you have been doing it every year for the past couple of years. So here's your chance to share your knowledge and offer me and our other readers some advice.

I've been told a few different things about the course and its dirt sections. Some have said normal wheels and tires. Some have suggested wider tires, maybe 25 mm. Some have said just make sure your tires are fresh.
