'Cross Camp Weblog Backlog

It's been such busy fall, there are e-mails in my inbox still from the summer that are important enough to merit action, but not emergency enough to cycle to the top of the pile. Every now and then I have to just get in there and clear out the ones that have hardened into pearls after all this time.

Take Control

Cycle-Smart Senior Associate Coach Alec Donahue has an article/interview on line now at Bicycling Magazine. Take a look:

Interviews and accolades

Honestly, I'm a little speechless at the good press and nice things people have said about me lately. So I'm just going to let the articles speak for themselves:

CLIF BAR Development Cyclo-Cross Team Enters Sixth Season, Focusing on Climate Change

Boulder, Colorado, September, 9 2009—The CLIF BAR Development Cyclo-Cross Team is set to begin its sixth season this month, looking to build not only on its past racing success but to continue to raise awareness about important environmental issues.
This season’s focus on climate change lines up perfectly with the timing of ‘cross season:

Questionnaire Responses

When we get a new Cycle-Smart client, we have a pretty extensive "entrance exam" we use to get to know our new devotees. Naturally we get some good responses, some serious, some funny, some both. We tend to attract a client who "gets it." One who knows that what we do is a little bit different, a little more personal, a little more open. This is a place you can come and just be yourself, because that's how we're going to be, too.

'Cross Camp Review

I'd tell you how it went myself, but I can't even respond to new client inquiries right now I'm so over my head. And either way, I couldn't give you a better report than Chip Baker did for us here. His blog entries about the camp were awfully flattering, enough to make me blush. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

So until I'm caught up, enjoy Chip's reports:
