Black Friday group 'cross ride
Submitted by Adam Myerson on Thu, 11/26/2009 - 19:35.
Alright, kids, here are the details:
A few of us are going to get together to do a little opening up workout on Friday before Thanksgiving. Since so many people have the day off from work, we thought it would be fun to gather the crowd.
We'll meet at 11:45 at Franklin Park, at the Pierpont Road parking lot adjacent to Schoolboy Stadium. We'll start riding at 12.
-1-2 laps easy to show people the loop.
-1 lap at tempo to warm up.
-1 lap recovery/regroup.
-1 lap at threshold.
-1 lap recovery/regroup.
A lap can take 8-10 minutes depending on the weather and effort, but the whole workout should take about an hour. It looks like it may be raining tomorrow, and Franklin Park gets very muddy. We'll try to modify the loop to keep it ridable.
RSVP.

- adammyerson: @BrockD1602 Unfamiliar.
- adammyerson: Dear Tucson, can we start the daily group ride again? We'll be DEPARTING from Starbucks on Uni at 10 am. Meet at 9:45. 6 hours/100 miles.
- adammyerson: If you don't know what I mean by "mid-shoe/foot cleat placement," you should be googling for the answer...
