I've been meaning to update for a couple of weeks, but sometimes things are so busy with the doing, there isn't enough time for the blabbing about it. I do dump a lot of quick updates (and other random thoughts) on Twitter and Facebook, so you can always follow there, too.

After winning my first two local 'cross races of the season in Massachusetts, I set off on a pretty hectic road trip. USA Crits Series in Dallas this past Thursday (a $20,000 criterium where I bridged to the break and finished 3rd), Nittany Lion 'Cross in PA yesterday, Charm City 'Cross in Baltimore today, 'Cross Vegas Wednesday, USA Crits Finals in Vegas Thursday, and the first rounds of the Verge Series in Vermont on Saturday and Sunday.

I knew the training I've been doing for 'cross season was paying off with the local wins and the strong ride on Thursday. I was also 4th in the circuit race and 2nd in the final crit at the Green Mountain Stage Race two weeks ago, which was a good sign. But I was able to put a nice ride together yesterday for 2nd place in PA. There's a write up with a lot of pictures on Cyclingnews this morning:

Here's hoping I can get Frattini back today and get the win. But my first goal of getting on the podium and getting ahead on UCI points before the first update is already accomplished.

I'll update again early next week, hopefully. I'll have 5000 postcards courtesy of Verge on hand at Vegas, and will have a stack for each of you. The PDF of the postcard is attached. I'll also be in the Lazer booth at 1 pm on Thursday, signing autographs and stealing girlfriends.

This is poised to be the most successful 'cross season I've ever had. I'm excited, and I appreciate everyone's support this year. The equipment is great, but you've all been really supportive of me the person, too, and I appreciate that even more.
