The Problem Is, I'm Not Belgian

So my new Van Dessel 'cross bikes are shipping this week, and there's a new color choice:

 

Now, the thing is, I think that color scheme is AMAZING. And Edwin Bull from Van Dessel _is_ actually Belgian, so he has a right to roll with that set up. I think if you're passionate about 'cross, if you read BKW and Embrocation at work, if you've been stretching your Dugasts since January, well, then I think this color scheme is for you.

For me, though? I think I'm going to go with white again. On the off chance I do go back to Belgium this year, I'm not sure how cool it will be to show up as an American in a World Cup with Sven Nys' colors on my bike. Ya know?

Hup United ran into this problem a few years back when ZD went over to Belgium to race Masters' Worlds. To wear our kit over there would be akin to showing up to a softball game here in a stars and stripes jersey with hot dogs and cracker jacks on it. ZD is a smart guy though, foresaw this and therein was the born the Hup NOIR "colorway."
