Time to get it together

I'm tired of being in the front row, watching other people win bike races.

It's what happens with 1/2 lap to go that determines whether you'll be on the podium in a criterium. You can only ever come around one guy after the last corner. I'm not being confident or aggressive enough in that window before the sprint actually starts. I'm always waiting, making it perfect, looking for someone else to go first so I can take advantage of the situation, and then sprinting from too far back.

I'm finally fit enough again to be able to put myself in a winning position. It's been a little while, and it takes practice to be comfortable and familiar with that situation. It's time, now, for me to start hitting out and finishing it off.

Soon.
