'Cross Schedule

Looks like this is my plan for 2009. Main goal? Winning the Verge Series. That's going to be hard to do, though, if I decide to race the big criterium in Boston on Saturday after Vegas instead of the first Verge round in Vermont. It's a huge crisis for me, and I'm still on the fence. $12,000 criterium with $8,000 in primes in late September 2 miles from my house, or the opening round of the series I organize and want to win. There is no good choice. Either way I miss something crucial.

I had to make the same decision about Boston crit or Vermont cross, except for announcing, not riding (obviously). I chose Boston. Boston is going to be great and the prize money and primes are huge. You can't leave that kind of money lieing around when it's practically on your door step already. We can't have a pro race in Boston without the one pro who actually lives in Boston (I'm not forgetting anyone am I?). And, you could still make it to Vt for day two.
