2009 Cycle-Smart 'Cross Clinic
We're ready to release some tentative details for the 2009 'cross clinic, and we've made some changes. This year, we were looking to simplify and streamline things, to make for a more affordable camp for participants, and a more organizationally manageable camp for us. We're going to go for a 1-day clinic as opposed to a full weekend camp, offer an optional seminar on Friday evening, and move the clinic to Easthampton, MA. The date for the clinic will be Saturday, August 29th, with the additional seminar Friday the 28th. We're aiming for a price point in the $150 range, and a limit of 30 participants. The coaches will be Alec Donahue and myself.
With this approach, we're removing much of the operational costs of the camp, which were for catering and lodging, and still providing the major bulk of the instruction. By making the Friday seminar and additional option, people can choose to come the night before and stay locally, and anyone already local can attend just the seminar if they like.
We'll post more info and a link to registration as we finalize the details.
