I mean, come on!

If you'd been organizing a bike race since 1940, you'd think at some point you could finally start to give real start times:

Every year at Tour of Somerville, you have to add up the distances, estimate average speeds and take an educated guess at what time the race will start and how early you should get there. And so every year I get there like 3 hours earlier than I need to, you know, just in case! Every year, the race starts at 3:30. You know the first year I count on that is the year it starts at 2.

I have a suggestion: how about normal start times, like every other bike race manages to do every other weekend in every other town in the world where they have bike races? I love you, Tour of Somerville, but it's time to step it up.
