Beer Log
Submitted by Adam Myerson on Mon, 12/22/2008 - 16:23.
At the end of my first week of the off-season, here's the tally:
Gouden Carolus Noel (draught)
St. Bernardus Christmas (draught)
De Ranke Pere Noel (draught)
Allagash White (bottle)
Allagash Curieux (bottle)
Scaldis Noel (draught)
Delirium Noel (draught)
Ommegang Three Philosophers (bottle)
Unibroue Maudite (bottle)
Novare Res has a LOT of Christmas beers on tap right now. Today's my last day in Portland until April, so I had to take advantage of it.

How was the St. Bernardus Christmas? I have a bomber of that in the basement. I'm wondering if I should move it up in the rotation.
It was good, kind of like a spicy Abt 12. I would have greatly preferred it from the bottle rather than on draught, since I enjoy the strong carbonation from bottle conditioning. Not sure how well it ages or it gets better with aging, but it's Christmas. You have to drink it!
Thank you Adam. I'm going to open it this week!
